"I am grateful for the care provided by Celeste during my mother’s long, slow, difficult and ultimately unsuccessful battle with congestive heart failure. Celeste kept track of all appointments, tests, treatments, therapies and was able to patiently translate highly technical medical issues in plain language to my mother’s extensive friend group. She also worked with my mother’s in-home caregiver, training her to be more capable and effective in meeting my mother’s increasingly complex needs over her long, slow an difficult decline. This was an extremely trying period, not just for my mother, but also for our family, my mother’s very large and intensely engaged friend group, and for those on the front line providing the care. Celeste was organized, clear-eyed, focused, compassionate and patient throughout."

"Celeste has been a comfort for my wife (and me) as we were dealing with her mother’s deteriorating health issues and situation. Regardless of the particular circumstances, it is, at best, difficult to navigate this road on one’s own. Celeste has the sensitivity, knowledge, and emotional intelligence to comfort and shepherd clients through those inevitable and difficult times. While she capably understands the nuts and bolts of helping to manage all of the details, above all she considers and respectfully addresses the personal and emotional needs of all involved. She has been a godsend and a comfort and is truly dedicated to her clients’ best interests. I have no reservations highly recommending her. None better!"

"We hired Celeste mainly to attend and report back on doctor’s appointments with my mother who has early Alzheimer’s and we couldn’t be happier. Celeste is not only competent and truly professional vis-à-vis the healthcare providers, but also extremely caring and compassionate in her interactions with my mother. No matter how challenging a visit may be, Celeste always manages to somehow make it pleasant for her. Being 3000 miles away trying to manage a parent’s care is daunting to say the least, but knowing Celeste is onsite or close by to help provides enormous peace of mind. I can only highly recommend her."

"Celeste distinguishes herself in several ways that have been very helpful to me. First of all, in a time when listening is a real rarity, she actually listens. And she’s actually interested in your well-being. If you don’t offer up enough information, she’ll quiz you. She maintains a calm, professional, and kind demeanor, but never shrinks from pressing our caregivers for thorough information on our behalf, and keeps the family informed. Continued education of health issues seems to be an important part of her practice. Health is a complex issue, and she’ll help you navigate to better outcomes."

"Celeste has been an advocate and medical advisor for my mother for over 5 years now, and has taken amazing care of her. My mother suffered a spinal cord injury after a fall, and has been unable to walk since. We moved her to LA to be close to family, and Celeste has helped us navigate her medical treatment, through ups and downs, always making sure she is getting the best care. But what’s most impressive is Celeste is able to effectively advocate without having to be overly aggressive or difficult with doctors and nurses (a problem we had with a patient advocate before her); she’s a true diplomat, always understanding, kind and patient with whomever she is dealing with. We are incredibly grateful for all her knowledge and guidance, and could not give a higher recommendation. I doubt there is anyone better in this business."

"It took years for the doctors to diagnose my wife’s disease, which ultimately had no treatment or cure. During the early phase, due to Susan’s dementia (which was unknown to me at the time), she could not recall any of her physicians. Celeste's help in finding an appropriate internist and multiple specialists for Susan's rare neurological disorder was both timely and essential. Over the last 5 years of her life, Susan lost the ability to walk, see, and eventually even speak. Celeste's insistence on keeping Susan engaged and moving - especially with aqua therapy when she lost the ability to stand, not only extended Susan's life, but gave her moments of great joy. The slow progression of APBD and Susan's deterioration was extremely difficult for both of us, but Celeste's medical guidance, support, and research for her care, enabled Susan to have an optimal journey until the end of her life."

“With most families, it's a struggle to convince parents they would be better off to leave their home and move where their adult children can assist their needs. My mom felt she was capable of managing the medicines she and my dad required, but her short term memory loss was creating a risk for both of them. We hired Celeste who was patient, persistent, and pleasant in overcoming mom’s resistance to accept help. Over 8 months Celeste was able to try several strategies in helping my parents manage their medical needs and stay safe at home. From setting up their weekly medicines, communicating with doctors, monitoring my dad as he went in and out of the hospital, rehab, and coordinating home health, helped us immensely. If my parents had not finally agreed to move near us, I know we would still be heavily dependent on Celeste. She anticipated problems and followed through with each task at hand, while giving us regular and timely updates on how things were progressing. On a personal level Celeste is wonderful! We really enjoyed getting to know her and miss seeing her! "

“Celeste helped our family immensely when it came time to decide how and when to move my mom out of her house and into an assisted living facility. It’s times like those when you realize how valuable it is to have an experienced voice who’s not a member of the family. Celeste is compassionate, understanding, and above all, a creative thinker. She meets her goals not by bulldozing down the existing roads, but by forging new paths that others have missed. I can't recommend her highly enough."

"Celeste came to USC County Hospital many times to help me with my son David, who was dying from cancer. She was very devoted in helping him get through his dying process. She knew how to talk to him with great sensitivity and helped in the process of signing many forms and making difficult decisions. She took a lot of the complex paperwork off my hands at a time when it was difficult for me to contend with these issues. She was extremely helpful in her professional manner, and has great integrity."

"Celeste helped my husband Dee who had great anxiety about medical tests and procedures. She came to our house with photos of these new machines, spoke of them as works of art, and explained the processes in detail so he became less fearful. For the first time my husband consented to get an MRI. Celeste has a gift for reducing a patient's anxiety - she is calm, knowledgeable, efficient and caring. I would not have made it through that first month without her guidance and nursing abilities ... When Dee died a year later I was completely lost, but Celeste knew what to do for me every step of the way. She understood everything about the grieving process, helped me plan the funeral service, coordinated all the support systems I needed, and always had the right thing to say to give me perspective which was a great comfort to me."
